Diablo 2 windowed windows 7

Windowed mode just adds a big black border with nothing in it, kinda pointless. Love the game just the windowed mode has to be fixed. From there you can resize it to whatever monitor you want.

Ok then, to be clear its not working for my custom resolution, yet it works fine in every other game including another blizzard game named wow. IN D2r I cant minimize, close or move the frame its all locked up regardless if i choose full screen or windowed. Can someone please fix this custom resolution error. Then on the first line I think it is Target go to the end of the text, put a space then -w.

In order to run Diablo 2 on my windows 7 PC, I did the following and this should work for Vista as well : Have the compatibility mode set to Windows XP Service Pack 3 Run in colours Disable Desktop composition Run this program as an administrator If you still run into issues, try keeping the Screen Resolution menu opened as you play. I'm actually running Diablo II in Vista without the first two steps compatibility mode is not checked and colors were not changed. I didn't have to do squat on Win7. Shinrai Ditto. Install, VidTest, Run, done. Shinrai I've heard the same thing from other people. It seems it's just hit or miss.
