After I upgraded my motherboard began re-installing programs on my Win7, Pro SP1 desktop system, I have encountered a seemingly un-surmountable problem with the above program.
While the installation completes, when I attempt to run the program I get n error message as follows: "Error initializing the application. Demo configuration error 1. Please reinstall application" , with the only options being to either close the dialogue box or choose OK, either of which closes the dialogue box and returns me to my desktop.
This program is Freeware, rather old, but a very good label maker and I have it running on two other OS's that are identical to the one in question. The only difference is that the MB on the one I'm having problems with is much newer that the others. I have tried to research this and have found no solutions and the manufacturer is of no help. Have used this software for at least years. It is really an outstanding software with a well designed and beautifully simple interface.
