I installed Franson GPSgate 2. I haven't had the whole program lock up yet using GPSgate like it would occasionally before but that doesn't prove anything. There seems to be a pattern to the GPS getting off track though. It appears to happen when coming to an intersection and stopping for more then a few seconds, then turning.
As long as the GPS keeps moving its fine.. You can watch your position hang for several seconds once you start to move again and then its off course. Kinda crazy. This only happens with Waze.
