Screen blank windows xp

I was able to un-install the driver but when I re-install it following a re-boot under normal mode, the screen goes blank again. I kept researching this issue, and most of the time the recommendation was to perform a Windows re-installation, since as long as VGA mode works then it is more likely a software issue.
