Furthermore, the project was claimed to be in production by a new team at "Moby Dick Studio," under the direction of a designer named Joakim Mogren. It was later revealed that this was all a gag, and the name Joakim Mogren was an anagram for Hideo Kojima. It is important to reiterate that this is all a guessing game at this point in time, until more information regarding Abandoned is unveiled.

For whoever should take the reins of the series in the future, the key will be capturing the psychological truths that Team Silent so keenly trapped in simple mechanics and pink rabbits 20 years ago, and not just thinking that resurrecting Pyramid Head, handing a character a gun, and getting them to shoot some chesty horror nurses is enough.
