Hi I am having this same issue I was able to install DigitalPersona Personal successfully but when I go to click on which finger to enroll it keeps saying that the fingerprint reader is not connected I have been trying to resolve this issue for almost 5 hours now with no success device manager does show that the fingerprint reader is installed and has no issues I have no clue what to do to fix my issue.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks again. I've also had problems with the fingerprint reader on my Vostro Is there a driver that you can guide me to that works with the new Windows 10? Software link provided does not install on x64 windows 7.
Something about update has nothing to install it on. Just rebuild machine after hardsik failure and cannot get reader to work. I have just ran it and reader still does nothing, i think I must need the biometric software that does the actual reading of the fingerprints. Browse Community. Laptops General - Read Only.
